Why local pet businesses belong on a map

Your customers are, almost by definition, people who live nearby. A map is the one place where "nearby" is the organising principle rather than an afterthought.

Search is local, and so is a pet shop

Someone searching for a groomer is not looking for the best groomer in the country. They are looking for one they can walk to, or drive to in ten minutes. A directory sorted by relevance buries that; a map shows it immediately.

That is why the listing shows the things a local decision actually needs: a photo, the address, a phone number you can tap, your website, and opening hours.

A listing is a page, not just a pin

Each business gets its own public page at its own address, with your photo, description, phone and hours. That page can be linked from your Instagram bio, printed on a receipt, or sent in a message. The pin on the map is how people find the page; the page is what convinces them to visit.

Businesses are visually distinct on the map — a teal ring instead of a pet's white one — so a shop never looks like a lost dog.

What it costs, honestly

Business listings are €4.49 per month, and the listing stays visible while the subscription is active. Pet memorials are free and always will be; the two are deliberately separate products, because a shop and a memorial are not the same thing.

There is no review queue. You add your details, pay, and the listing appears once the payment is confirmed.

Keep the details current

Opening hours change at Christmas, phone numbers change, websites get replaced. Everything on your listing is editable from your dashboard, and turning opening hours off is allowed — better to show nothing than hours you no longer keep.
